Anxiety and related disorders
Depression / Mood Disorders
Adjustment and Coping with Life Changes or Stressors
Specific challenges related to ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Learning Disabilities, and other developmental disorders
What does treatment include?
We work collaboratively with children and families to develop the most appropriate treatment plan for their unique concerns. Sessions typically include a combination of individual, parent, and family sessions. We also often collaborate with the child's school or other services providers when appropriate.
Trained in a variety of treatment approaches, we will work with you to determine the best combination of treatments. This may include Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), among others.
Our clinical approach also focuses on client strengths, resiliency, and empowerment, helping them to become their own critically aware advocates.
Payment
Our practice does not accept insurance and is considered an out-of-network provider with insurance companies. Many health insurance companies may pay for some portion of neuropsychological evaluations and/or psychotherapy services. Payment is expected at the time of service and clients will be a provided superbill which they may submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement, based upon their out-of-network benefits. Please inquire regarding specific fees.
