Is your child or teen dealing with anxiety or stress? Do they struggle to make friends and build social skills? Perhaps they need assistance in cultivating confidence and boosting their self-esteem?
We have just the right place!
Child Psychologist Dr. Megan Marsh, along with local clinical psychology graduate students, will be co-facilitating groups for children and teens looking to enhance their mindfulness toolbox, build self-esteem, and increase emotional resilience!
The Mindfulness + Movement program is open to children and teens ages 7 to 17. Based on enrollment, groups may be separated into smaller age groups. Each session, the children participate in learning mindfulness/meditation exercises, while also incorporating yoga, movement, music, and craft activities. Each activity is designed to support your child in cultivating mindfulness through the use of their senses, enhancing social-emotional learning, regulating their nervous system, build self confidence, and further developing their social skills.... all while making wonderful social connections and having fun!
The groups are currently taking place outdoors in a peaceful farm setting in South Windsor! Your children will be able to spend some time in a beautiful location, building skills that will help foster friendships, and a more positive sense of self!
