Is your child or teen dealing with anxiety or stress? Do they struggle to make friends and build social skills? Perhaps they need assistance in cultivating confidence and boosting their self-esteem?
We have just the right place!
This summer we are so excited to offer not one, but two Mindfulness & Movement programs, one for kids and one for teens! Child Psychologist Dr. Megan Marsh and graduate student + registered yoga teacher Alyssa Pelletier will be co-facilitating groups for children and teens looking to enhance their mindfulness toolbox, build self-esteem, and increase emotional resilience!
The Mindfulness & Movement Kids program is open to children ages 7 to 12. We will be utilizing various therapeutic art techniques and movement activities to support your child in cultivating mindfulness through the use of their senses. This program is great for kiddos looking to build social skills while enhancing social-emotional learning.
The Mindfulness & Movement Teens program is for teens ages 13 to 17 and will be a bit similar. A main focus in this group will be supporting our teens in building up their self-esteem, regulating their nervous system during moments of stress and anxiety, while deepening social skills and having fun!
The best part? It’s all taking place outdoors in a peaceful farm setting in South Windsor! Your children will be able to spend some time in a beautiful location, building skills that will help foster friendships, and a more positive sense of self!
